HHA Exchange opened in Bangkok’s Old Town, opening its doors for the first time to exchange Bitcoins and Litecoins for US Dollars on Friday, June 15, 2017.
The exchange has been operating since January 2019.
“We’re a new exchange that’s opened in the Old Town.
It’s not a local exchange, so it’s not that we have to worry about local regulations,” said Hoa Kyaan, the founder of the exchange.
HHA has already processed over 1,000 deposits and 1,200 withdrawals in the past 24 hours.
“This is the first exchange to be open in the Thai capital, and we hope that other cities and markets will follow suit,” he added.
Hha Exchange has already opened in Thailand, but not yet in the US, but it is open to international customers.
The company has plans to open an exchange in the Philippines, but this has yet to be decided.
“If the Philippines accepts Bitcoin, we will consider accepting more international customers and that’s why we’re currently working on a Philippine-only exchange,” said Kyaans.
“In the future, we hope to expand into other markets.”
The HHA Group is one of Thailand’s largest companies, and it is currently the countrys largest licensed exchange operator.
In 2016, it processed over 8,500,000 transactions worth US$1.1 billion, according to its website.
“The HHA team is committed to delivering great products, and they have proven themselves to be highly professional,” said HHA founder Hoa.
“They will make it a lot easier for users to convert their USD or BTC to USD and vice versa, which is a huge advantage for the cryptocurrency market.”
